Johannes Hofmann holds a PhD in Computer Science and is a senior researcher at the Chair for Computer Architecture of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. His research focus is on performance modelling and engineering for contemporary multi- and many-core processors, as well as developing models for energy-efficienct computing.
