Biography
Ian is Director of the Solutions Business for Fujitsu System s Europe r esponsible for shaping and driving offerings for high performance software solutions in simulation, analytics and AI . Building on his scientific and analytical education his career has been focused on working with customers to
understand the ir domains of specialization, business processes a n d on going challenges. As HPC and Data Analytics converge and accelerate AI , Ian is now directing his wide application experience to co create transformational deep learning solutions with business end users. At Fujitsu Systems Europe for 20 years , Ian’s initial responsibilities combined pre sales and sales support with technical application benchmarking and optimization. He then moved into Marketing and Business Development roles, while managing strategic HPC ISV alliances, particularly in the CAE and Oil & Gas sectors. Today, Ian leads account management and commercial support for our Gateway business , including channel partner development.
