Nicolas Lachiche received his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Nancy, France in 1997, where he conducted research on machine learning. After a postdoc at the University of Bristol, he joined the University of Strasbourg as an associate professor. He is the head of the Data Science and Knowledge research group in the ICube laboratory. His research interests are in mining relational or sequential data.
