Dr. Stone has been developing computational fluid dynamics and other scientific software for more than 20 years and has been a high-performance computing (HPC) software engineer for the past 15 years. Chris has worked with US federal research laboratories as well as with universities and private industry to improve the efficiency and productivity of scientific simulation software on HPC systems. Dr. Stone is currently a Research Scientist with the Partnership for an Advanced Computing Environment (PACE) at the Georgia Inst. of Technology. In addition to his HPC work, Dr. Stone instructs HPC and software engineering courses at Loyola U. Chicago.
