Biography
I am an early stage researcher in the project EXPERTISE - a European Training Network project funded from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovative programme and a
Ph.D. candidate at the University of Stuttgart, Germany. My doctoral research investigates a novel approach, which allows programmers to offload I/O related tasks as collective I/O operations in MPI.
I obtained my BSc from the Gazi University and MSc from the Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University, Turkey, in Computer Engineering, that investigates automated biomedical diagnosis systems for evaluation of widely seen heart and eye diseases. I have written many scientific articles on data mining, machine learning, medical image and signal analysis and parallel computing. My current research is focused on collective I/O optimizations in HPC systems.
