Mr. Bourassa has degrees in Architecture (University of California, Berkeley) and Electronics Engineering Technology (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, Edmonton, Alberta). He has 25 years of building energy engineering and energy efficiency research experience. He currently works in the National Energy Research Scientific Computing (NERSC) Building Infrastructure Group. His position draws on his building science experience in the development, deployment and use of Operational Data Analytics (ODA) tools providing improved power demand and energy efficiency performance of NERSC HPC and support systems.
